AES stands for Automated Export System, while EIN stands for Employer Identification Number. International export shipments with a value greater than $2500 may require that you file your export info electronically through AES. The below document will walk you through the steps of entering an AES/EIN number when creating DHL Express International shipments. *Please note, additional paperwork may still be required to be filed directly with the carrier.*
