Integrating your XPS Ship account with Etsy allows your customers’ orders to be directly transferred from Etsy to your profile, providing quick and easy shipping. Orders will be marked as “Shipped” on Etsy and will send a tracking number once the shipping label has been generated. The steps below will guide you through the process of integrating your XPS Ship account with Etsy.
Important: As of October 21, 2024, Etsy no longer supports full functionality with its connection to most third-party shipping apps. However, you can still purchase labels for your unshipped orders through XPS Ship.
If you integrated your Etsy account with XPS before October 21, 2024, the integration should continue to work normally.
Add an Etsy Integration
Open a new browser window and log in to your XPS Ship Account.
Click the Settings tab.
Under eCommerce select eCommerce Integrations.
Click Add eCommerce Integration.
Select Etsy.
General Settings
Add an Integration Name, “Etsy” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.
Check the box if you want to have a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.
By default, the Active box will be checked.
Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre-Verification on orders.
Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.
Etsy Settings
If you want your order status to remain unchanged in Etsy after booking, check the box “Don’t update Etsy order after booking shipment”.
If you want the “Ship by” date to appear in the pending orders in XPS Ship, check the box Import Etsy's "Expected Ship Date" as Due-by-date.
Additional settings are available related to the Sender Address and Return To Address. Edit if necessary to your integration.
When finished, select Connect Integration.
You are redirected to Etsy’s website. You’ll be asked to allow our application to connect to your account. Select Grant Access.
You are redirected back to XPS Ship. When the integration is saved, you see that the connection has been established at the top of the page.
Orders start syncing and appear in the shipping area, this may take a few minutes.
