Integrating your XPS Ship account with TradeGecko allows your customers’ orders to be directly transferred from TradeGecko to XPS Ship, providing quick and easy shipping. This integration will pull in any "paid" and "unshipped" orders from TradeGecko. It will also tell TradeGecko when an order has been shipped, send a tracking number and mark it as "fulfilled" once the shipping label has been generated. The steps below will guide you through the process of integrating your XPS Ship account with TradeGecko.
TradeGecko Setup
Log in to your TradeGecko account
Click the "New Application" button
The only required fields are Name and Redirect URI.
Name can be anything you would like.
For Redirect URI copy the URI listed below the field (highlighted green in the example below) for the Redirect URI.
Enter any remaining optional fields you would like. Then click Submit.
Select Create Privileged Token.
Copy the API Key as you will need to paste it into your TradeGecko Integration settings for XPS in a later step.
Add a TradeGecko Integration
Open a new browser window and log in to your XPS Ship Account.
Click the Settings tab.
Under eCommerce select eCommerce Integrations.
Click Add eCommerce Integration.
Select TradeGecko.
General Settings
Add an Integration name, “TradeGecko” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.
Check the box if you want to have a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.
By default, the Active box will be checked.
Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre Verification on orders.
Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.
TradeGecko Settings
Paste the API Token obtained from TradeGecko into the "API Key" field
Additional settings are available related to the Sender Address and Return To Address. Edit if necessary to your integration.
When finished, click Save New Integration.
When the integration is saved, you see that the connection has been established at the top of the page.
Orders start syncing and appear in the shipping area, this may take a few minutes.
