Integrating your XPS Ship account with Gun Rodeo allows your customers’ orders to be directly transferred from Gun Rodeo to XPS Ship, providing quick and easy shipping. Orders will be marked as “Shipped” on Gun Rodeo and will send a tracking number once the shipping label has been generated. The steps below will guide you through the process of integrating your XPS Ship account with Gun Rodeo.
Add a Gun Rodeo Integration in XPS Ship
Click the Settings tab..
Under eCommerce select eCommerce Integrations.
Click Add eCommerce Integration.
Select Gun Rodeo.
General Settings
Add an Integration Name, “Rest API for Gun Rodeo” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.
Check the box if you want to have a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.
By default, the Active box will be checked.
Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre-Verification on orders.
Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.
Additional settings are available related to the Sender Address and Return To Address. Edit if necessary to your integration.
Click Save New Integration at the bottom of the page.
Once the Integration settings have been saved, an Integration ID number will populate in the REST API Information. Copy the Integration ID, Customer ID, and API Key, as you will need to paste them into your Gun Rodeo settings in the next steps.
Open a new browser window and log in to your Gun Rodeo account.
In the upper right-hand corner, click on the 3 lines to access the Menu.
Under Settings select Shipping Rates.
For Shipping Rate Engine select XPS from the dropdown menu.
Paste the Integration ID, Customer ID, and API Key into the corresponding blank fields.
Check the shipping services to be displayed at checkout, and then click Save at the bottom of the page.
