How to Turn Off Auto-Fill in Your Browser


Google Chrome

Turning off autofill in Chrome:

  1. Select the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner and select Settings from the dropdown.

  2. In the "Autofill" section, select Addresses and more.

  3. Toggle the setting OFF if it is on. The system automatically saves your settings.

Firefox

Turning off autofill in Firefox:

  1. To change the settings, select the three menu lines in the upper right-hand corner, then select Settings from the dropdown.

  2. Choose Privacy & Security.

  3. Scroll down to the "Forms & Autofill" section and uncheck the Autofill addresses checkbox which will disable Autofill.

    The system automatically saves your settings.


Microsoft Edge

Turning off autofill in Edge (Chromium):

  1. Select the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner, then select Settings from the dropdown.

    The menu should default to "Profiles."

  2. If not, select this option from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

  3. In the "Your Profile" section, select Personal info.

  4. For Save and fill basic info, toggle the setting OFF if it is on. The system automatically saves your settings.

Safari

Turning off autofill in Safari:

  1. Click on the Safari menu. (The word Safari at the top of the screen) and choose Preferences.

  2. Select the Autofill option and uncheck Using Information from my Contacts checkbox.
