Wix Error: Internal Server Error

If you are seeing the error “Internal Server Error [request-id: 1234567891011...] in the Wix integration follow the steps below.

Edit Wix Permissions

To begin, click the link below to bring you directly to your site's dashboard.

Manage Apps tab

You may need to select Manage apps at the bottom of the menu on the left.

Click the 3 dots to the right of the app you used to connect to XPS Ship previously.

(Usually called My New App 1.)

Select Delete.

A message will confirm you want to delete and why, choose I’m having a technical issue from the dropdown, then select Delete App.

Next, click the link below to bring up the My Apps page in Wix.

Wix-My Apps

Hover over the app you used to connect to XPS Ship previously and click Select App.

(Usually called My New App 1)


Select Permissions from the menu on the left.

* If Permissions has a “!” next to it, Wix may ask you to update permissions, select Update.

It should list two permissions for Wix Stores: Manage Orders and Read Orders. If it does not list both, select +Add Permissions.


Select the missing permissions and select Save.


Next, in the left-hand navigation, click OAuth. You will need to check to make sure the App ID, App Secret Key, Redirect URL, and App URL, match the information in your Wix integration settings in XPS Ship. If you make any changes on the Wix OAuth page, select Save in the top right.

Click Test Your App. Select Dashboard from the dropdown menu as the entry point.


A popup may appear Test app with no extensions? select Test App.


A page will popup that may show My New App, you do not need to select anything, just close the tab.


Return to the Wix Settings page in XPS Ship, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Reconnect Integration.

Log in if prompted, then click Agree & Add.

It should list the following for Allow XPS Shipper permission to:

  • Read basic site info

  • Modify orders

  • Read orders


Your Wix store should now be connected, orders will start syncing and appear in the orders list on the Ship page, this may take a few minutes.
