Integrating your XPS Ship account with Wix allows your customers’ orders to be directly transferred from Wix to XPS Ship, providing quick and easy shipping. Orders will be marked as “fulfilled” on Wix and will send a tracking number once the shipping label has been generated. The steps below will guide you through the process of integrating your XPS Ship account with Wix
Add the App in Wix
Click the link below to bring up the My Apps page in Wix.
(You may need to log in to your Wix site.)
Depending on what version of Wix you are using, the steps may differ slightly.
Click Create Your New App.
Select Build from scratch or Explore other frameworks.
A window will pop up asking you to choose a framework, click Self-Hosted, then select Get Started or Start from Scratch.
In the navigation menu on the left, click Permissions and click +Add Permission.
This may also be located underneath the Develop section.
Select Filter by category and in the dropdown menu, choose Wix Stores.
Select the checkboxes for:
Read Orders
Manage Orders
Select Save in the upper right corner.
In the menu on the left click OAuth. You will need to obtain the Redirect URL and App URL from your Wix integration settings in XPS Ship in the next step.
Open a new browser window, log in to your XPS Ship Account.
Click the Settings icon.
Under eCommerce select eCommerce Integrations.
Click Add eCommerce Integration.
Select Wix.
General Settings
Add an Integration name, “Wix” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.
Check the box if you want to have a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.
By default, the Active box will be checked.
Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre Verification on orders.
Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.
Wix Settings
Copy the App URL and Redirect URL to be pasted into the corresponding blank fields on the WIX OAuth page.
Return to the Wix Developer OAuth Settings tab. You will need to select the option for Advanced OAuth or Custom Authentication (legacy) by clicking the arrow to reveal the fields for the Redirect URL and App URL.
Paste the Redirect URL and App URL into the corresponding blank fields and then click Save.
Click Test Your App. Select Dashboard from the dropdown menu as the entry point.
A popup may appear Test app with no extensions? select Test App.
A page will popup that may show My New App, you do not need to select anything, just close the tab.
Note: If you have multiple Wix sites, you will need to select the Wix store you want to integrate.
Return to the Wix Developer OAuth Settings page.
Copy the App ID and App Secret Key to be pasted into the corresponding blank fields in XPS Ship. You may need to select the eyeball to view the App Secret Key.
Return to the Wix integration settings in XPS Ship.
Paste the App ID and App Secret Key into the corresponding blank fields.
Don't update Wix order after booking shipment: Check this option if you want your order status to remain unchanged in Wix after booking.
Click Connect Integration.
Log in if prompted, then click Agree & Add.
When the integration has been saved, you will see that the connection has been established at the top of the page. Orders will start syncing and will appear in the shipping area, this may take a few minutes.
