Integrating your XPS Ship account with Shift 4 Shop allows your customers’ orders to be directly transferred from Shift 4 Shop to your profile, providing quick and easy shipping. Orders will be marked as “Shipped” on Shift 4 Shop and will send a tracking number once the shipping label has been generated. The steps below will guide you through the process of integrating your XPS Ship account with Shift 4 Shop.
Add a Shift 4 Shop Integration
Click the Settings tab.
Under eCommerce select eCommerce Integrations.
Click Add eCommerce Integration.
Select Shift 4 Shop.
General Settings
Add an Integration name, “Shift 4 Shop” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.
Check the box if you want to have a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.
By default, the Active box will be checked.
Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre-Verification on orders.
Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.
Shift 4 Shop Settings
Under Shift 4 Shop Settings copy the Public Key, as this will need to be pasted in your Shift 4 Shop store in a later step.
Open a new browser window and log in to your Shift 4 Shop Store.
Select Modules located on the left sidebar.
After selecting Modules you’ll be brought to a new page. Scroll down and select the small green + plus sign next to Rest API.
Then select Change Settings.
You will be brought to a new page, select +Add in the top right corner.
This is where you will paste the Public Key you copied earlier. Paste the key into the box and click +Add.
You will now be asked to authorize XPS Ship to connect with Shift 4 Shop. Select +Authorize.
A new page appears thanking you for signing up and provides you with a Secure Store URL and Token. Copy the Store URL and the Token, as you will need to paste them into your Shift 4 Shop Integration settings for XPS in the next step.
Return to your Shift 4 Shop integration setup in XPS Ship. Paste the Secure Store URL and Token into the corresponding fields.
Additional settings are available related to the Sender Address and Return To Address. Edit if necessary to your integration.
Click Save New Integration.
When the integration is saved, you see that the connection has been established at the top of the page.
Orders start syncing and appear in the shipping area, this may take a few minutes.
