Big Cartel Integration


Integrating your XPS Ship account with Big Cartel allows your customers’ orders to be directly transferred from Big Cartel to your profile, providing quick and easy shipping. Orders will be marked as “Shipped” on Big Cartel and will send a tracking number once the shipping label has been generated. The steps below will guide you through the process of integrating your XPS Ship account with Big Cartel.

Obtain Shop Name in Big Cartel

To begin, log in to your Big Cartel account.

Click Account in the top right corner.

Scroll down to find the Shop URL and copy the Big Cartel Shop Name as you will need to paste it into your Big Cartel integration settings in XPS later.

Example: This shop’s URL is rsisswag.bigcartel.com

The Big Cartel Shop Name would be "rsisswag".

Add a Big Cartel Integration

Open a new browser window and log in to your XPS Ship Account.

Click the Settings tab.


Under eCommerce select eCommerce Integrations.


Click Add eCommerce Integration.


Select Big Cartel.

General Settings

  • Add an Integration name, “Big Cartel” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.

  • Check the box if you want to have a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.

  • By default, the Active box will be checked.

  • Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre-Verification on orders.

  • Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.

Big Cartel Settings

Paste the Big Cartel Shop name and password from your site into the corresponding blank fields.

Additional settings are available related to the Sender Address and Return To Address. Edit if necessary to your integration.

Click Save New Integration at the bottom of the page.

When the integration is saved, you see that the connection has been established at the top of the page.

Orders start syncing and appear in the shipping area, this may take a few minutes.
