If you are using a Zebra Printer, and your labels look blurry when printed these steps may help resolve the issue. The steps below are for model Zebra 450 CTP, however, the solution applies for any of the printers listed by Seagull here: https://www.seagullscientific.com/support/downloads/drivers/zebra
If you also use UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship Manager, we recommend adding your FedEx or UPS account to XPS Ship to process the shipments. For more details visit: Carrier Accounts
If you do not wish to add the accounts and want to continue using the UPS and FedEx applications do not follow these steps, instead use the steps found in: Zebra Printer: ZP500 and ZP505 Not Printing Correctly
***Before you begin, be sure you uninstall any Zebra drivers/devices***
Right-click on the start menu and choose “Device Manager”.
Find Zebra ZP 450 CTP under “Printers”, right-click, and choose “Uninstall”.
If “Delete the driver software for this device” is an option, check the box and click “OK”.
Click the link below to download and install the Seagull printer driver for the Zebra 450 CTP.
https://www.seagullscientific.com/downloads/printer-drivers/zebra-zp-450-ctp/
(Be sure to choose Zebra 450 CTP and not Zebra 450 CTPe)
Once complete, open “Devices and Printers”.
Right-click on the printer, and choose “Printing preferences”.
Under the “Options” tab choose "Absolute" and set "Darkness" to "30".
Under the "Graphics" tab choose "None".
Click “Apply” to save the changes. Now when printing a label, the resolution should no longer be blurry.
