Scale Troubleshooting: Package Weight Not Displayed in XPS Ship

XPS Ship can support most USB Scales that offer communication through USB by using the Webshiplink. If you are having trouble with the package weights displaying in XPS Ship from your USB scale, follow the steps below.

Ensure that the XPS Webshiplink is open.

If you have the icon on your desktop you can right-click and select “Open”.

Or type in “Webshiplink” in the Windows search bar and select “Open”.

**In order for the scale to read you will need to have the Webshiplink app open. If you would like to have the Webshiplink app open automatically visit the help center article: Configuring Webshiplink to Automatically Startup for Windows

If the scale is still not reading, proceed with the steps below.

Unplug your scale from your computer for 30 seconds and then reconnect it.

Close the XPS Webshiplink and reopen it.

Check to make sure the scale token and scale selected in the Webshiplink match what is entered into the scale setup in the XPS scale setup page.

If the steps above did not resolve the issue delete the scale listed in XPS Ship scale settings, and review the initial steps listed in the Help Center article Scale Setup
