Only FedEx-approved licensed alcohol shippers that have entered into a FedEx Alcohol Shipping Agreement may ship using the alcohol option.

To use the FedEx Alcohol option you will need the following:

Your own FedEx account on file in the platform. If you have not added a FedEx account visit Carrier Accounts for instructions.
You will need to be a FedEx-approved alcohol shipper. For detailed information visit: FedEx Alcohol Requirements

Create an Alcohol Shipment in the Ship screen

In the Ship screen after selecting an eligible FedEx service and package type, select the checkbox for "Contains Alcohol".

You will then need to choose the Alcohol Recipient Type from the drop-down.

Consumer*: Used for wine shipments from licensed entities directly to consumers.

Licensee*: Used for alcohol shipments (beer, wine, and spirits) when both the shipper and recipient are either licensed wholesalers, licensed dealers, licensed distributors, licensed manufacturers, licensed retailers, or licensed importers.
