Integrated quoting is an optional feature available within XPS Ship that allows you to pass your rates through to your shopping cart at your cost, with a dollar markup, or a percentage markup, as well as a weight markup for packaging.

Why would I use Integrated Quoting?
Because there are situations when the end customer needs to know the actual shipping amount.
Most domestic shipping is done on a flat rate or free basis - Amazon has set the standard on this; however, international shipments rarely fall into this shipping strategy. Having integrated quoting allows the business owner to deliver the most competitive shipping rate to their customer, win more business, and grow. Integrated quoting is used when the shipper wants to pass on their discounted rate to their end customer. If utilizing free shipping and flat rate shipping, then you typically wouldn’t use integrated quoting, but when shipping internationally, free and flat rate is not as common so passing through the discounted rates to the end customer is needed.
