How to Re-apply eCommerce Integration Rules


If you have pending orders that have populated into XPS/Webship and have made a change to existing eCommerce integration rules or created new rules for those orders, you will need to re-apply the rules with the steps below.

If you currently have pending orders in XPS/Webship, that the new rule you created applies to, you will need to tell it to “Reapply rule” you can do this on the Ship or Batch Tab.


Ship Tab

On the Ship Tab, select the order or search for it by name or order #.

Next to the order # in the upper left, select the icon to “Re-apply rules to this order”.

After reapplying the rules, a notification will show “Rules re-applied to order#”, as well as the details including the Rule Name and actions applied to that order number.

After closing the Rules Applied Detail box you will also see the rule name in the top left under the order number.

Batch Tab

If you want to re-apply rules to multiple orders you can do so in the Batch tab. After selecting the orders, on the right side, above the shipping options box, select the icon to “Re-apply rules to the orders”.

After reapplying the rules, a notification will show “Rules re-applied to the selected orders”, as well as the Rules Applied Detail Box.

To view the details including the Rule Name and actions applied to a particular order number, select the “+” sign to expand.

Select the “X” in the upper right-hand of the Rules Applied Detail Box to close.
