Integrating your XPS Ship account with Shopping Cart Elite site allows your customers’ orders to be directly transferred from Shopping Cart Elite to XPS Ship, providing quick and easy shipping. Orders will be marked as “Shipped” on Shopping Cart Elite and will send a tracking number once the shipping label has been generated. The steps below will guide you through the process of integrating your XPS Ship account with Shopping Cart Elite
To begin, log in to your Shopping Cart Elite account. On the left side, select "Settings" then "API".
Make sure the "API Access Allowed" box is checked, if not, check it now.
Select the "+New button" to create a new user.
A box will appear prompting you to input a name, choose whatever you’d like.
Select your newly created account from the drop-down, and make sure IP Restriction, Daily Limit, and Transactions are all blank.
Beneath the API Secret Key will be a green checkmark, click it to select all endpoints for the API.
Click "Save" located in the top right corner when finished.
Select your profile in the name table. Copy the Access Key, API Key, and API Secret Key as you will need to paste them into your Shopping Cart Elite Integration settings for XPS in the next steps.
Add a Shopping Cart Elite Integration
Open a new browser window and log in to your XPS Ship Account.
Click the Settings tab.
Under “eCommerce” select “eCommerce Integrations”.
Select "Add eCommerce Integration".
Select Shopping Cart Elite.
General Settings
Add an Integration Name, “Shopping Cart Elite” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.
Check the box if you want to have a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.
By default, the Active box will be checked.
Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre-Verification on orders.
Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.
Shopping Cart Elite Settings
Paste the API Access Key, API Key, and API Secret Key you acquired earlier into the corresponding blank fields.
Additional settings are available related to the Sender and Return to address. Edit and apply as necessary to your integration.
Click "Save New Integration".
When the integration has been saved, you will see that the connection has been established at the top of the page. Orders will start syncing and will appear in the shipping area, this may take a few minutes.
