Shopify Store Integration


Integrating your XPS Ship account with Shopify allows your customers’ orders to be directly transferred from Shopify to XPS Ship, providing quick and easy shipping. Orders will be marked as “Shipped” on Shopify and will send a tracking number once the shipping label has been generated. The steps below will guide you through the process of integrating your XPS Ship account with Shopify.

Select the Settings tab.


Under “eCommerce” select “eCommerce Integrations”.


A list of your current integrations will appear, select "Add eCommerce integration".


Select Shopify.


Select "Connect Integration".


You will be redirected to Shopify’s website to add the XPS Ship app for Shopify.

Select "Install". Or you may need to click “Log in to install” if you are not already logged into your Shopify account.)


Depending on your configuration, you may need to select your store name and account.


You may also get a screen listing the data the app will need access to, select "Install".


Your Shopify store is now connected, orders will start syncing and the orders will appear in the shipping area. Select “Close” to continue.


General Settings

  • Add an Integration Name, “Shopify” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.

  • Check the box if you want a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.

  • By default, the Active box will be checked.

  • Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre Verification on orders.

  • Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.



Shopify Settings

  • Your Shopify Shop Name will automatically be added after connecting.

  • To allow the integration to show the due by date on orders, enter the word “date” in the “Map Cart Attribute to Due By Date (M/D/YYYY)" field.

  • Use Order Name instead of Order Number check this box to switch this. *If you use the prefix & suffix option from Shopify to modify your order numbers and want it to display in XPS the same way check this option.

  • Include orders that are in "Payment pending" status

  • Include orders that are in "Payment authorized" status.

  • Don't Retrieve Item Attributes

  • Redownload all orders on next sync (This is used to bring in existing orders that have changed status, for example from On-hold to Payment Authorized after making changes.) Note: This is also required if you are making changes to Include orders that are in "Payment pending" and or "Payment authorized" status.

  • Sync commodities with products from this store-Check this option If you want to upload all of your products within your Shopify store to the commodities setting within XPS. For more details visit the Help Center Article: Shopify Sync Commodities With Products From Your Store

  • Redownload all products on next sync-Check this option if you are using the option to Sync Commodities With Products From Your Store to check for new products and any recent changes to the product HS codes.


Inventory Location Mapping

If you have multiple inventory locations set up in Shopify, you will want to map them in your integration settings. for more details visit the Help Center article: Inventory Locations


Additional settings are available related to the "Sender" and "Return To Address". Edit and apply as necessary to your integration.


Select "Save Changes" when all info has been entered.
