Follow the guide below to connect your PayPal account with XPS Ship.
You must have a PayPal Business Account to use this feature.
Currently, the PayPal integration only pulls the shipping address from the billing information. Please double-check your orders in PayPal if there is a different shipping address.
To begin, click the link below to bring you directly to the PayPal 3rd party permissions. You will need to enter your PayPal login information.
PayPal 3rd Party Apps Permissions
After entering your PayPal login information, it will directly bring you to the screen to add new third-party permissions.
Enter:
apps_api1.rocksolidinternet.com
in the Third-Party Permission Username field, then click the "Lookup" button.
Check the following options and click the "Add" button:
Obtain information about a single transaction
Search your transactions for items that match specific criteria and display the results
Add a PayPal Integration
Open a new browser window and log in to your XPS Ship Account.
Click the Settings tab.
Under “eCommerce” select “eCommerce Integrations”.
Click “Add eCommerce Integration”.
Select PayPal.
General Settings
Add an Integration name, “PayPal” will be the default, but it can be changed to anything you’d like.
Check the box if you want to have a confirmation email sent when orders are fulfilled.
By default, the Active box will be checked.
Check the box if you want to Skip address Pre-Verification on orders.
Check the box “Include Packing slips in confirmation email” if you’d like the packing slips included with the confirmation email once labels have been generated.
PayPal Settings
Enter your PayPal user email in the PayPal account email address field. **This must match the email you used to login to PayPal in the beginning step.
Load Orders With Age Less Than- The default for PayPal is 14 days, if you would like to pull orders older, enter in the number of days back you would like to pull. For example, if you enter "30" it will pull all the orders that have not shipped for the last 30 days.
Additional settings are available related to the "Sender" and "Return To" address. Edit and apply as necessary to your integration.
Click “Save New Integration”.
When the integration has been saved, you will see that the connection has been established at the top of the page. Orders will start syncing and will appear in the shipping area, this may take a few minutes.
**The PayPal integration does not currently pull in weight information. However, you can use the commodity mapping option to associate an SKU with weight. To learn more, visit the Help Center article: How to Add Commodities
