Order tags can be used to add a “tag” to orders making it easier to filter for those specific orders while in the Batch screen or on the report exported from the History/Track Tab. One example of when you would create a tag would be if an item was back-ordered and you needed to separate the back-ordered ones from orders ready to ship.
Click the Settings tab.
Under “eCommerce” select “Order Tag Customization”.
Select “Add Tag”.
Name the tag and select from a color from the drop-down.
After creating tags, select "Save Tags".
A message will show at the top of the screen:
Return to the Batch tab.
You can filter for the orders you would like to tag, in the example below it is by SKU.
Select the checkbox next to the dropdown arrow to select all orders with that filter applied.
You can now add the order tags as well as: Edit Service Type, Package Type, Signature, Pickup, Saturday Delivery, Return Label, Dimensions and Weight, Insurance Amount, Content Description, and Shipment Date.
Select “Save Changes” when done. The tags you applied to the select orders will now show in the batch list.
