Organizing your orders into separate batch groups is useful for several scenarios. If you have multiple workstations assigning orders into separate batch groups can prevent two or more workstations from attempting to book the same orders. Follow the steps below to assign a batch to a group.
Click the Batch tab.
You can filter for the orders you would like to group, in the example below it is by SKU.
Select the orders you would like to group, then select "Add (#) Orders to Batch".
You can name the Batch Group whatever you would like or leave as the default name of the date and time created.
To return to a Batch Group and complete editing shipment details, printing packing slips, and booking you would select the batch name from the drop-down menu.
To return to orders that have not been grouped select "None" from the drop-down menu.
To remove orders from a Batch Group, select the Batch group name from the drop-down and select the trash can icon.
A pop-up message will ask you to confirm you would like to delete that Batch Group. After selecting "Yes" the orders previously assigned to the group will return to the "None" list of orders. (Orders that have not been assigned into a Batch Group)
If you have orders selected to add to a Batch Group, and some or all of those orders have already been assigned to a Batch Group, an error message will appear, letting you know that only the ungrouped orders selected with be added to the group you are creating.
If you are not working in a batch group but want to find all orders that apply to the filters you have set, including those that have been added to a batch group select “Show Orders from All Batch Groups” at the top of the filter options box.
Printing Batch Group on Packing Slips
You have the option after creating a Batch Group to print the batch group information on the packing slips.
Click the Settings tab.
Under “Admin Settings” select “Packing Slips”.
Under “Admin Settings” select the option "Show batch group information on packing slip".
Select "Save Changes" at the bottom.
When you go to print the packing slip you will see that the option to "Print Batch Information" is checked by default, and the Batch Group # and name appear below the order number.
If you are printing the Inline or PDF packing slips, the batch group # will appear at the top.
